Q: How does the connection to the harness release?
A: The tow-system is equipped with an utomatik quick release. Once you release the handle, it will immediately release the connection to the harness.
Q: What happens when I fall?
A: As you learned with a normal waterski-handle, you should do the same and let go off the handle. There is no other action required than letting go the handle.
Q: What happens if the quick release would fail to release?
A: For the unlikly event that the quick release should fail to release we equipped our connector with a weak link to limit the maximum impact on the harness to the nominal maximal breaking load. You find more infos in our operators manual.
Q: Does the system help to learn the waterstart?
A: It helps a lot as you get a lift at your hips and you will need only the half of the power to hold on to the handle. Sure there is no magic and you will still need to learn the technic, but the CR WAKEBAR gives you the power to try as much as you want because of the reduced pull on the handle you will not get tired.
Q: Can it be used to ski with one arm?
A: Definetly yes, we have seen beginners with combo skis and advanced wakeboardes, It is a total different way it works compared to other solutions. The pulley block not only reduces the effort it lets you freely move and is not limited to a fixed solution like the Delger sling.
Q: Can I wear my lifejacket over the harness?
A: Yes, it would be possible to wear it over the harness but you may need to let the lower closing belts a bit wider open. While a regular Life Jaket would be to bulky to wear under a harness a thinner vest could be worn under the harness
Specially designed Vests and Jackets for Harness:
As harnesses are long in use for windsurf and kitesurf speccially designed vests and jackets are available in almost every kite or windsurf shop.
Different than those for wakeboarding the “kite vests” have been designed to fit well under a harness. with a much thinner - lower part to fit best under a harness
Kite/Surf Life Jackets are tailored to give space for the hook in front of any regular surf harness
1. Kitesurf - Impact Vest:
The same vest like a wakeboard vest but with a much thinner - lower part to fit best under a harness
2. Surf and Sail life Jackets are tailored to give space to the hook. They are shorter in the front than other Jackets.
